At FAIS Forward Academy, we are committed to providing high-quality training solutions to the financial services and motor industries. Our training programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each learner, with a focus on practical application and real-world scenarios. In this blog, we will provide an overview of the four main services we offer.
National Credit Act Training (NCA)
The National Credit Act (NCA) is a South African law that regulates the credit industry. As an accredited training provider, we offer NCA training programs to help individuals and organizations fulfil their compliance requirements. Our NCA training programs cover a range of topics, including credit granting, affordability assessments, and debt counselling. We offer online learning and examination options to cater to the needs of our learners and face-to-face workshops for groups of 10 or more in various locations across the country.
Class Of Business Training (CoB)
Class Of Business (CoB) training is a mandatory requirement for all financial services providers (FSPs), key individuals and representatives who offer specific financial products or services. Our CoB training programs cover a range of topics, including long-term insurance, short-term insurance, and deposits. The CoB training and exam is offered online on our eLearning platform.
Insurance Qualifications (FAIS Credits)
To become FAIS Fit and Proper, individuals are required to complete a qualification that is recognized by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). We offer two FSCA recognised insurance qualifications namely Short-Term Insurance and Retail Insurance. Both these qualifications are designed to help individuals comply with the FAIS Fit and Proper “Qualification” requirement. Our experienced trainers are committed to providing learners with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the financial services industry.
Regulatory Examination Training for Representatives (RES) and Individuals (RE1)
The Regulatory Examination (RE) is a mandatory requirement for all financial services providers (FSPs), key individuals and representatives who render financial services. Our RE training programs are designed to help individuals prepare for the RES and RE1 exams. We offer Virtual Instructor-led (VILT) workshops on the conferencing platform Zoom and online learning to cater to the needs of our learners. Our experienced trainers are committed to providing learners with the knowledge and skills they need to become FAIS Fit and proper in the financial services industry.
In conclusion, FAIS Forward Academy is a leading training provider that offers a range of training programs to the financial services and motor industries.
