Class of Business training is the generic training in respect of the various classes of business; and is regulated in Board Notice 194 of 2017. It forms a compulsory part of the FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements and became operational on 1 August 2018. Individuals who were appointed on or after this date, must complete CoB training within 12 months of date of first appointment (DOFA Date) in all the product categories in which they are rendering financial services.
